PETROS TSITSIRICOS: Mr Tsitsiricos holds a BSc in Economics from Athens University of Economics and Business and an MBA from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts.
His areas of concentration are Management Information Systems and Health Care Management. He has worked in several managerial positions and has considerable experience in Education as a Teaching Assistant at Northeastern University in MIS and currently as a lecturer at the Athens College Adult Education Programme in MIS and in Health Care Management Strategy. Mr Tsitsiricos is a Management Consultant in various organisations, especially in Health Care and Public Management. He has also worked in the position of Associate Economic Advisor to the Prime Minister of Greece. Mr Tsitsiricos is the Managing Director of NETWORK.
Panos Polichroniadis: is the Junior Managing Partner of NETWORK Educational Group. He holds an Executive MBA and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Social Sciences. He also holds a PGC in Education Management.
He is a licensed Psychologist by the Ministry of Health, a licensed Instructor of English by the Ministry of Education and a British Council accredited UK Education Consultant with distinction. He has now completed 25 years of experience in the Education Sector in Greece and his area of specialisation is Services Engineering, Sales and Communication and HRM in the Context of Education Management.
ADAM SIATRAS: Dr Siatras obtained his combined honours BSc in Economics, Psychology and Mathematics at Sir John Cass College, University of London, his MSc in Mathematics at Bedford College, University of London, where he also taught set theory to first year students as a teaching assistant, and completed his doctoral EdD studies in Teacher Education at Nottingham University.
Dr Siatras lived in the UK for 26 years, working as a Mathematics teacher at Seven Kings High School, and as a lecturer at Sir John Cass College. For the past 20 years, he has been a minor partner and the Academic Director and Head of the Postgraduate Department at NETWORK, fulfilling various teaching, academic and administrative roles, including the roles of teacher trainer and textbook author.
MARGARITA MITSIKA: Mrs Mitsika holds a BA in English with History from Winchester University and an MA in 20th Century Literature from Lancaster University. She obtained a Level 7 Diploma in Translation in English to Greek from the Institute of Linguists in 2007.
She has worked as a translator in the Pappaffy Archive and she has participated in a number of research papers in cooperation with the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She has been teaching English as a foreign Language since 2002. She teaches English as well as English and American Literature at NETWORK Foundation.
ALEXANDROS CHRISTODOULOU: Mr Christodoulou holds a BA in English Language and Literature from the University of Athens and a CELTA. Having completed his undergraduate studies, he is currently pursuing a MEd in TEFL (Teaching English as Foreign Language) at the Hellenic Open University, Patras.
His teaching background includes working with students in various institutes ranging from Primary Education to Foundation undergraduate level. He has also worked as an online EFL instructor to overseas learners (Asia) and as an IELTS Speaking Module examiner.
DIMITRIS LOUKAS: Mr Loukas holds an MA in Fine Arts (Painting) from the National Technical University of Athens and a Diploma in Design from Vacalo School in Athens
He possesses extensive teaching experience in Design courses specialising in the preparation of students’ (mainly applicants to the school of Architecture) portfolios at various private colleges in Athens. He teaches Design and Applied Art Courses at the NETWORK Foundation Programme.
PHYLLIS CORDAS: Ms Cordas holds a BA degree in European Literature and History from Bennington College, Vermont, USA, where she studied under a scholarship.
She has several years of teaching experience in teaching English Grammar and composition at high schools in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and in schools in Greece. She teaches English and English Literature at NETWORK.
HARRY S. DE BROWN: Dr De Brown has a BSc in Astrophysics from University College London, and an MSc in Space Science from University College London, UK. He further progressed in his studies by obtaining an MPhil in Cosmology from the University of Cambridge, and a PhD in Galactic Dynamics from the University of Edinburgh.
He is a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society, UK, and an associate researcher in the Galactic Dynamics and Cosmology Group, NASA. Dr De Brown has had extensive teaching experience in institutions in Athens and currently teaches the Physics, Mathematics, and Statistics modules at the NETWORK Foundation Programme.
CATHERINE-JOAN DEARING: Ms Dearing is a psychology Lecturer and Family Therapist who has a BA in Psychology and an MA in Psychology of Education– Special Needs from UCL, University of London. She is a Chartered Psychologist and member of the British Psychological Society (CPsychol), and an EFTA Member (European Family Therapy Association). She holds a second MA in Counselling Psychology- Family Therapy, with an extensive number of clients in her record.
Ms Dearing is an accredited Adult Education teacher from the Greek Ministry of Education. She has attended numerous training programmes and seminars, constantly updating her professional skills and credentials. Moreover, she collaborates systematically with clinics and educational institutions for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. She possesses extensive experience as a Psychology Lecturer, SPSS Analyst, and Career Orientation Advisor in higher educational institutions at undergraduate level. She teaches Psychology and Communication /Media and the Research Project at the NETWORK Foundation Programme. She is the Director of the NETWORK Foundation Programme.
ANARGYROS PAPADOPOULOS: Dr Papadopoulos obtained a BA in Political Sciences and an LLB from the Kapodistrian University of Athens, followed by an MA in International Studies from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Subsequently, he attended the Kent State University of Ohio, graduating with an MA from the Political Sciences Department, and then went on to obtain an LLM from the London School of Economics. The final stage in his academic achievements thus far was the PhD he obtained from the Aristotle University, Greece.
Dr Papadopoulos boasts an extensive career in the legal profession and currently teaches Law on the NETWORK Foundation Programme.
EMMANUIL AKOUMIANAKIS: Mr Akoumianakis is a holder of a BSc in Management and Economics from Youngstown State University, Ohio, USA.
He has extensive experience in the instruction of Business and Economics and is currently a member of the NETWORK foundation team, teaching a broad range of subjects including Business, Economics, and Media & Communication. He has also taught on the IELTS and TOEFL preparation courses and has a solid background in EFL instruction.
EMMA GREEN: Emma Maryan Green holds a first class honours Bachelor of Arts from Cambridge University (Newnham) in Foreign Languages (French, Italian, and Modern Greek). She has held a secretarial position at the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, has taught English on a private basis for a period of 25 years in Athens, and has been an Oral Examiner for the Hellenic-American Union in Athens. She teaches English on the NETWORK Foundation Programme.
MYRTO KLADI: Ms Kladi holds a certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Foreign Languages (CELTA) from the University of Cambridge and is currently studying for the acquisition of the Level 7 diploma (equivalent to Master’s level) in Teaching English to Speakers of Foreign Languages (DELTA) from the University of Cambridge.
She has worked as a Junior Dean Fellow in the Linguistics department of the New York College in Athens. She teaches English at NETWORK.
ANDREAS ZOUPAS: Dr Zoupas holds a BSc in Physics from the University of Athens. Having completed his undergraduate studies, he went on to pursue an MSc in Mathematics and Theoretical Physics at the University of Cambridge. He completed his studies with a PhD in Theoretical Physics, awarded from Imperial College, London.
Mr Zoupas has written many scientific papers and has extensive experience in research. His teaching background includes working with undergraduate students at the universities of Thessaly and Athens, as well as Imperial College. He teaches at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels at NETWORK.
CHRIS GKIKAS: Chris Gkikas has a BSc in Computer Science from the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) and an MSc in Electronics and Radiocommunications from NKUA’s Department of Physics, IT and Telecommunications.
He is a member of IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers) and IFIP (International Federation for Information Processing). Chris Gkikas is an Accredited Trainer of Continuing Vocational Training by both the National Accreditation Centre for Continuing Vocational Training and the Institute of Continuing Adult Education in Greece. He possesses extensive teaching experience in Primary, Secondary and Adult Education and currently teaches the Computing Skills, Computer Programming and Gaming and Research Project modules on the NETWORK Foundation Programme.
GIOVANNA ARIANOGLOU: Ms Arianoglou holds a BSc in Biology with specialisation in Biomolecular Sciences and Biotechnology from the University of Crete’s Biology Department and an MSc in Neuroscience from the University of Crete’s Medical School.
For over a decade, she has worked in research labs both in Greece and abroad, indicatively at the following institutions: the Laboratory of Basic Research, Department of Neuroscience, Biomedical Research Foundation, the Academy of Athens; Carlos Ibanez lab, Department of Neuroscience, Division of Molecular Neurobiology Karolinska Institutet; Laboratory of Neurometabolic Diseases, Medical School, University of Crete; and Laboratory of Neuroscience, Medical School, University of Crete, among others, where she obtained useful expertise in both academic research and mentoring. She is currently a Biology and Chemistry teacher at NETWORK Foundation.
Markos A. Bougatsias: Mr Bougatsias possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Informatics from the University of Macedonia, Greece, and an MSc in Computer Science and Technology from the same University. He further progressed in his studies by obtaining Programming certifications in Python and Ruby.
Mr Bougatsias has solid teaching experience within private schools and in teaching private lessons in Thessaloniki. Currently he teaches Computing Theory and is an IT consultant on the NETWORK Foundation Programme.
Andrew Salisbury: Dr Salisbury is a university professor and a foundation lecturer who specialises in teaching not only English but also IELTS, Business English, TOEFL, GMAT, and in creating business information systems using IT. He completed his PhD in 2000 and in 2018 completed a further postgraduate 2-year teaching qualification called FHEA (Fellow in higher education academy). In 2019, he was further awarded the SFHEA (Senior Fellow in higher education academy) from Sheffield University, which is the highest teaching qualification obtainable.
Andrew has extensive teaching experience, which started in the year 2000, during his PhD, when he was asked to take his first class. Since then he has continued working to date, gaining teaching experience not only in language schools, but also in teaching businesspeople in companies in Thessaloniki and Bulgaria. He has a relaxed and serious approach to teaching, using innovative methods such as visual vocabulary, online teaching and classroom groupwork activities.
GIANNIS DELIVOS: Dr Delivos holds a BSc in Mathematics from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and an MSc in pure Mathematics, also from Aristotle University. He further progressed in his studies by obtaining a PhD in Differential Geometry of Surfaces from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
Dr Delivos has had extensive teaching experience in institutions in Thessaloniki and currently teaches the Advanced Mathematics and the Mathematics for Science and Statistics modules on the NETWORK Foundation Programme.
ANASTASIA LAMPRELI: Ms Lampreli possesses a BSc in Biological Sciences from Florida International University, Miami, and an MA in Applied Linguistic with TESOL from the University of Sheffield. In addition, she possesses the Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) from the University of Cambridge.
Ms Lampreli has been teaching English for Academic Purposes in universities in the UK and General English in various institutions in Greece. She is currently teaching English on the NETWORK Foundation Programme.
SOULTANA G. AGIDOU: Dr Agidou holds a BSc in Biochemistry from the Department of Life Sciences, King’s College London, and an MSc in Molecular Biology and Applied Genetics from the Department of Biology, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. In addition, she has PhD in Biochemistry with specialisation in Cancer Research from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki’s Medical Department.
She has extensive professional experience in the field of scientific teaching and research and regularly participates in scientific seminars and conferences. Her record of accomplishments includes extensive teaching experience at institutions in Thessaloniki and she currently teaches the Chemistry and Biology modules on the NETWORK Foundation Programme.
IOANNA K. CHATZITHEODOROU: Ioanna Chatzitheodorou possesses a BSc in Computer Science from the Macedonia University of Thessaloniki’s Department of Applied Informatics, with specialisations in Computer Science and Technology and Information Systems. She also has an MSc in Communication Networks and Systems Security from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Department of Informatics.
She is a certified instructor in Informatics for Adults from Greece’s National Organisation for the Certification of Qualifications and Vocational Guidance. She enjoys extensive professional experience in the field of Networks and the Internet at a major Telecommunication Company in Greece, as well as extensive teaching experience in institutions in Thessaloniki. She currently teaches the Applied Informatics module on the NETWORK Foundation Programme.
Fanis Theofanidis: Mr Theofanidis has a BA in English Language and Literature from the English Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
He has taught Methodology of Teaching at the above Department, Medical and Economics classes at the Military School of Combat Support Officers, and Use of Visual Aids to postgraduate students at the University of Macedonia. Currently he is an IELTS, TOEFL, and English tutor on the NETWORK Foundation Programme.
Ian Kehoe: Dr Kehoe began his career as an organisational consultant in the UK, working on training, research, and government programmes in the field of child-centred education, school improvement and educational leadership. His PhD at the University of Sheffield focused on action research to improve engagement in schools.
Ian specialises in the use of student-centred teaching methods to improve academic standards. In addition to conducting and publishing educational research, he has worked as an academic editor and enjoys over 15 years’ experience teaching English and English for Academic Purposes both at university and foundation level in the UK, France, and Greece. Ian is the academic director of Network’s Thessaloniki branch and a tutor on a number of NETWORK’s postgraduate and foundation courses.
Erietta Xigala: Mrs Xigala possesses a BSc in Psychology from Huddersfield University, UK, and an MSc in Health Psychology from the University of Bedfordshire, UK. She then went on to obtain a diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapies from the Greek Association for Cognitive and Behavioural psychotherapies.
Erietta Xigala enjoys extensive teaching experience at institutions in Thessaloniki and she has been teaching psychology and sociology courses on the NETWORK Foundation Programme since 2013.
Maggie Papacharalampous: Maggie Papacharalampous holds a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design from the University of Bedfordshire, United Kingdom, and an Executive MBA from the International University of Greece, Thessaloniki.
She has many years of experience as a Creative Director in the field of Graphic Design and Visual Communication. Her teaching experience at several colleges and institutions in Thessaloniki is extensive and she currently teaches the Art, Design and Portfolio course on the Network Foundation Programme. She is also a scientific associate in the Transport Systems Research Group (TSRG) at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
MAVRIDIS EFSTATHIOS: Mr Mavridis possesses an LLB from the University of Staffordshire, UK, and an LLB from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. He further progressed in his studies by obtaining an LLM in International Commercial Law from the University of Kent at Canterbury, UK, and an MSc in Energy Law, Business, Regulation and Policy from the International Hellenic University, Greece.
Mr Mavridis has a significant legal and business practice and extensive teaching experience at institutions in Thessaloniki. He currently teaches Law and Business courses on the NETWORK Foundation Programme.
ALEXANDROS KOSMIDIS: Mr Alexandros Kosmidis has a BA in English Language Studies from Anglia Ruskin University, and an MSc in International Relations and Security Studies from the University of Southampton. He is an associate researcher for the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute, Sweden, and for the European Commission’s European Defence Agency and European External Action Service, responsible for the Commission’s Foreign, Defence and Security Policies.
Mr Kosmidis has had extensive teaching experience in European institutions and currently teaches English, History, and Politics on the NETWORK Foundation Programme.
