Network on the NET (http://www.network.gr/)

Network is the first private educational institution in Greece, to set-up and run its own server WWW, FTP & E-Mail SERVER (http://www.network.gr).
Other sites that have been created by the Network Team are: www.wwww.gr, www.abbeycollege.gr .

The server is maintained by the school’s technical team and our sites/ Web pages are updated by both Tutors and Foundation students. It is important to highlight that every registered student at Network has his/her own personal e-mail account as well as unlimited WWW and FTP access at no cost.

CREATIVE DEPARTMENT: Network prides for the creation, uploading and updating of its sites offering detailed information about the programmes and services offered by the Institution.

IT DEPARTMENT: Service and maintenance of computer devises, servers and networks is run by the IT Department of Network .

WiFi: NETWORK offers to its students and visitors continuous access to the Internet via a wireless network with speed of  100 Mbps (based on optical fiber technology). Thus students and visitors can use their laptops/tablets/mobile phones within the premises of Network at any time of the day. For those without a portable device there are PCs available at the NetCAFE free to use by everyone.

E-mail Accounts and Personal Web Pages to ALL Students

Since 1996-97 all registered students at the Network Foundation Programme are provided with a personal e-mail account as well as unlimited access to the Internet at all campuses. From January 1998, all students are also provided with a Personal Web Page, which they may build and maintain by themselves. Network offers regularly HTML and FTP seminars to its students for this purpose. Acces to a desktop scanner is also available to all students.
